Cedar Square Homes built my house 3 years ago. The entire process was more than pleasurable. Curtis, Charlie, and Chris all bent over backwards to appease what we wanted done to our home! I now consider them friends. I was impressed at how they really found the time to make the home look it’s best! Thank you Curtis, Charlie, and Chris!

They Exceeded my expectations and worked quickly to meet an aggressive timeline due to a company baby. I’ve recommended them to friends.

Cedar Square Homes rebuilt my mom’s house after a fire. They did an exceptional job and were so professional. The realtor was so thrilled and the inspector said it was the best renovation he had ever seen. We were able to sell it in only 2 weeks. It was a brand new house and the new owners are so happy. They took our family home and made it beautiful again.

Cedar Square Homes is a quality builder who handles customers with integrity. I work for them and know they do not take short cuts, or tell you one thing and do another. I have seen multiple custom home customers who have been cheated by another builder, but once they come to Cedar Square Homes they end up very happy.

Good Quality work, what they’re all about. It starts with the quality of the products they use.

We chose Cedar Square to build our home in 195. They helped us design a home that would work for us at that time but also would allow for an addition in years to come as our family grew. Curtis walked us through the entire process, communicated with us through the entire process, communicated with us frequently throughout the entire build, and always so pleasant, as of the employees.

Many years later, in 2004, we had them come back and do a huge addition/remodel while we continue living in the house with our very young children. It was a large job that lasted more than 6 months and it couldn’t have gone better. Cedar Square home is nothing short of AMAZING. I highly recommend them to anyone and will hopefully being having them back to do more work soon!

An Open Letter of Thanks to the Annapolis/Eastport Community,

We are writing today to convey how truly blessed we feel to live in this community. We chose to relocate here 2 and a half years ago because we loved the natural and historical beauty of the area, the energy that two college campuses brought to town, and the strong community spirit. After two years we continue to cherish these things, and feel so very fortunate to live in such a wonderful community. We wanted to thank all who assisted us this week during the fire in the Severn 100 condominium. We can’t even begin to identify all of those involved, but would like to do our best to thank each and every one of you. You make Annapolis the wonderful home that it is.

At midnight on December 10, the Severn 100 condominium caught fire. Local residents returning from Midnight Madness festivities worked to alert residents by using the intercom system. This quick thinking saved valuable time, likely saving the residents of the unit where the fire started. All residents were safely evacuated thanks to the quick response and efficiency of our local fire departments. Over 60 firefighters responded that night and worked to bring everyone to safety and extinguish the fire. One resident was transported by compassionate emergency medical technicians for smoke inhalation. All others remained on site and were supported by local neighbors. A woman (name still unknown) who lives around the corner on Severn Avenue appeared in the darkness with scarves, blankets and shoes since many of us ran from the building with nothing but the clothes we were sleeping in. Chris Mahoney, of ProTech HVAC Home, and his wife opened their office space so that residents had a warm place to gather. Dan McQuay, Manager of the Eastport Yacht Club answered a call in the middle of the night and came right over to open the Eastport Yacht Club as an emergency staging area where residents could meet with representatives from the Red Cross, Annapolis Emergency Services, and the Fire Department. Several residents were displaced from their homes due to smoke damage and broken windows. All were provided shelter by caring neighbors and friends.

Kary L with Victory Property Management worked through the night to secure remediation crews to start at 6:00am the following morning so that as many residents as possible could return to their homes. The compassionate crews from North Arundel Contracting worked tirelessly all day ensuring that broken windows were boarded up and smoke soaked hallways and stairwells were abated. By close of day, only one unit was deemed uninhabitable. The residents of this unit were provided with emergency financial support from the Red Cross, and were immediately offered shelter by a number of neighbors and friends for both short and long-term housing. We are so very grateful for this community. We cannot imagine living anywhere else.
